Acts 20:24
But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
This past Friday night one conversation stood out to me in particular. I had used God's law to bring the knowledge of sin and personal accountability to God with a group of 5 high school students. I then shared God's grace which is found in Christ Jesus through His death, burial, and resurrection. Our response should be one of repentance. In faith we turn back to Christ! The conversation however seemed to be fizzling. They didn't seem concerned about their eternal fate (Revelation 20:15).
The conversation turned though when I mentioned that one of the guys, named Robert, shared the same name as my father. I shared with them that he died last year. They told me they were sorry for my loss. I then was able to testify about how my father put his faith in Jesus Christ for his personal salvation. I then told them about how one of his favorite passages from the Bible was John 14:1-6 (this is why memorizing scripture and/or having your Bible with you is important!).
John 14:1-6
1"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2"In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
3"If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
4"And you know the way where I am going."
5Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"
6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
The conversation had definitely been taken to a different level. I was able to share my dad's testimony with them. I shared with them some of the things my dad had done before coming to Christ (things he had told me before he died) and how God had worked in his life. Remember, that even if you have a set method for sharing your faith to be sensitive to where the conversation is going. You never know when you'll get a chance to share your own story or the story of someone you care about.
God changes lives not only now, but also in the future. The second my dad's body died he went to be in the presence of the Lord in the present heaven (see 1 Corinthians 15:54-57, 2 Corinthians 5:6-8, Philippians 1:22-23, Luke 23:43). I told them that the only way they could have that same hope is to repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-7). Pray for Robert, Adrian, Joe, Jacob, and the rest of the people that I was able to share the Gospel with this past Friday. If they are breathing, they need Jesus!

That is so true. We can never know exactly where the conversation will go and must be sensitive to the Spirit. Sounds like you had a very meaningful conversation with them. That's awesome!
