Nicole and I ran in our first race early this morning. We signed up about a month ago at the Anaheim Angels website and today was the day for our race. We got t-shirts, a hat, two tickets to a future Angels baseball game, and some water/fruit when we finished the race. It was a pretty fun atmosphere. I finished in 35:41 and Nicole finished in 38:31. We both did pretty good considering we have only been training for about a month. I think we might continue with running and enter into another 5K sometime down the road. Let me finish by giving a shout out to my friend Nick Gaspar for getting us to sign up and do the 5K Fun Run.
