Seasons

We are approaching my favorite time of the year. We don't get wild swings in our weather here in California, but we do get some change from the summer to the winter. In autumn we typically go back and forth between hot and cold. The last two days have been a breath of fresh air as it has cooled down from the upper 90s on Sunday to the upper 60s yesterday. Today the rain is watering the thirsty soil at our house! Don't get me wrong. I love sunshine and warm weather, but I am ready for the new season to come. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the new year are just around the corner. I am hopeful that Nicole and I will be able to head up to my mom's place in Big Bear to see the changing colors before the leaves all fall off. What's your favorite time of the year?
