Missing in Action

Too be honest I haven't been too busy to blog. I just haven't had much to write about. So here is a bullet list of a few noteworthy things in the world of Fei right now.

  • Nicole and I will be leading a team of college students from California Baptist University on an "International Service Project" this summer to South Africa (henceforth on this blog it shall be referred to as ISP-SA). We met them a few weeks ago and are looking forward to working with them not only for the purpose of our trip, but also for the purpose of discipleship. Pray for this team!
  • December 5th would have been my dad's 62nd birthday. Last year was tough because it was the first holiday season without him around. This year it is still tough. As I always say, I am supremely grateful that my dad was a born again follower of Jesus. He wasn't perfect, but he did know he needed a Savior. John 14:1-6 tells me that Jesus prepared a home in heaven for my dad (and all who believe). I miss my dad now, but he is with Jesus which is pretty awesome.
  • I finished the "Perspectives" class I had been taking in Costa Mesa with some friends from our trips to East Asia.
  • As a basketball fanatic (my favorite team is the Lakers) I am a little dismayed that the league disallowed the trade that would have brought Chris Paul to the Lakers. It set a bad precedent. Now the Lakers had to trade Lamar Odom for pretty much nothing because his feelings were hurt that the Lakers would consider trading him.
  • I am glad that one of my best friends, J.D. Bennett, is back in California. Even if it is only for a few weeks.
  • The Christmas season is my favorite time of the year.

  1. Ahh Thanx PieMan!! I appreciate being one of the bullets on this blog!
I concur that the Lamar Odom trade was a travesty. So was the Gasol/Odom trade that the NBA blocked, but giving Lamar to our nemesis in the defending champs? Mitch Kupchak should have offered his resignation over all this.
